The HotelPlanner Tour season is coming to a close with the Grand Final, which will be played in Mallorca and broadcast live on Sky Sports. The tournament features a field of 45 golfers, including past Ryder Cup players, previous tournament winners, and ex-LIV golfers, all competing for promotion to the DP World Tour.

This year’s event marks the 31st time the HotelPlanner Tour Grand Final has been played and will conclude the DP World Tour feeder circuit’s 28-event season. It will also bring an end to the HotelPlanner Tour’s points competition, the Road to Mallorca Rankings.

The top 45 golfers in the Road to Mallorca standings will participate in the Grand Final, with the top 15 players at the end of the tournament earning a DP World Tour card for next season. James Morrison won the event in 2025, while JC Ritchie topped the Road to Mallorca Rankings.

Grand Final Details

Club de Golf Alcanada, located on Mallorca’s south-east coast, has hosted the HotelPlanner Tour Grand Final for the past five years and will stage the 2026 event. The tournament offers a £418,000 (€500,000) prize fund and 4,000 Road to Mallorca Rankings Points.

The winner of the Grand Final will be awarded 640 points, with second place claiming 440 points and third place securing 280 points. American Alex Goff is the lowest-ranked player in the field, while England’s Matthew Southgate sits in the final DP World Tour qualifying spot.

Players to Watch

Tapio Pulkkanen enters the tournament fifth in the Road to Mallorca standings and is bidding to become the first player to have won the HotelPlanner Tour’s order of merit twice. Current Road to Mallorca Rankings leader Hamish Brown will look to hold down the No 1 spot after winning the tour’s penultimate event, the Hangzhou Open.

Chris Wood, who featured at the 2016 Ryder Cup, is looking to return to the DP World Tour after losing his playing rights in 2022. Three other former LIV Golfers, including Frederik Kjetterup, Dominic Foos, and John Catlin, are also in the field.

Many European golfing stars have graduated to the DP World Tour following victories at the HotelPlanner Tour Grand Final, including Thomas Bjorn, Edoardo Molinari, and Tommy Fleetwood. More recently, Ryder Cup hopefuls Marco Penge and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen won at Club de Golf Alcanada in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
